Monitoring systems for nursing care homes

A device and a platform used in a nursing care facility with the following features that use a robot technology equipped with sensors and external communication functions, are intensively developed as a nursing care facility type monitoring aid device.

Definitions

Allows simultaneous monitoring on multiple care-requiring persons.
Allows simultaneous information sharing with multiple nursing care workers in each location of a facility.
Usable regardless day or night.
Not rely solely on information obtained from care-requiring person’s behaviors of voluntarily seeking help (pressing a button, and sounding a voice, etc.).
Allows detection of the state where the caretaker tries to get away, or has moved away from the bed, and notifications to the care worker.
As a monitoring platform for those with dementia, permits functional expansions or connections with other devices/software.
