1.Purpose

Invite those enterprises who have a strong intention to develop robotic care equipment in the “areas of focus for the use of robot technology in nursing care” and will work with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and other related agencies to form a partnership, which functions as a platform to promote understanding and matching the needs of users of care services and caregivers, as well as providing information from administrative agencies that is useful for development, listening to voices of participant companies and reflecting them into the measures for promoting the development and practical use of robotic care equipment.

2.Roles of partnership

(1) Functioning as a platform to promote understanding and matching the needs of users of care services and caregivers.
Promotes exchanging opinions among developers, users of care services and caregivers.
Provides feedback on the activities of both sides toward verification
(2) Providing information from administrative agencies
Provides advice for the development by the Association for Technical Aids (the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare)./li>
Provides information for the measures to promote the development and practical use of robotic care equipment.
(3) Hearing opinions about the future measures for practical use of robotic care equipment
Company’s issues when starting development
Needs for modularization and standardization and other needs
(4) Promoting use of the Robot Safety Center
Promotes the use of the center as a place of real machine examinations of safety standards, etc.
Provides information regarding standards, certifications and standardization
