Bathing aids

A device that aids a series of actions of entering/exiting from a bathtub using a robot technology.

Definitions

• Usable by one care-requiring person alone, or with the aid of one caregiver.
• Allows support for a series of care-requiring person’s actions of entering/exiting from a bathroom, and from straddling a bathtub to soaking himself/herself in the bathtub.
• Use of the device ensures that the caretaker can at least soak himself/herself up to the chest in hot water.
• The caregiver can remove, store or clean up alone while not hindering the family member of the care-requiring person from bathing.
• Installable without special work.
