Non-Wearable transfer aids
Among non-wearable type devices that perform power assistance for lifting actions by caregivers using a robot technology, those with the following features are subject to intensive development as a non-wearable type lifting aid device.
Definitions
- A caregiver can use the device by himself/herself from lifting start to end.
- Applicable to lifting between a bed and wheelchair. (Note that usability in lifting between a bed and wheelchair is subject to an evaluation in the stage gate examination .)
- When lifting a care-requiring person, perform a power assist of all or part of the caregiver’s power.
