Outdoor mobility aids

A walking aid device with the following features using a robot technology that supports the elderly’s going out and enables them to safely carry baggage, etc., is intensively developed as an outdoor type lifting aid device.

Definitions

• Enables mobility with baggage.
• Provides the elderly., etc. with support for walking with their own feet. Those on-board are not subject to aids.
• Enables mobility with baggage.
• Equipped with four or more of wheels.
• A wheel diameter that allows stable mobility in a rough terrain. (Note that the stability when passing through the steps of gravel roads and sidewalks is subject to an evaluation in the stage gate examination .)
• The size that permits mounting in the interior and trunk of an ordinary automobile in a normal state or by making the device folded.
• Equipped with a manual brake.
• Waterproof measures have been taken not to impair the function even if left outdoors in the rainy weather.
• A weight (30 kg or less) to be lifted by a caregiver.
