Symposium, exhibition & presentation on Long-term care technology of Japan
Purpose of Symposium
AMED and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (hereinafter called “METI”) have been supporting the development of Japanese-made long-term care robotic through ”Project to Promote the Development of Long-term Care Robots” to solve the issues in long-term care field both in Japan and abroad with technology, as Japan is the first country in the world to experience super-aging society.
So far, AMED has supported the development of over 100 projects through funding programs and many of the long-term care devices have been put to practical use.
To share our vision, efforts and products with others, especially with embassies, we would like to hold a "Symposium, exhibition & presentation on Long-term care technology of Japan" to introduce Japanese long-term care robotics technology.
This symposium will introduce Japan's cutting-edge long-term care technology through keynote speeches by the Program Supervisor (PS) and Program Officer (PO) of Project to Promote the Development of Long-term Care Robots, panel discussions, and presentations by Japan's leading long-term care robotics developers. And it will introduce the types, functions and usecase in Japan and abroad of Japanese long-term care robots. We hope you will consider the possibility of using them in the field of long-term care in your country.
We hope you will invite others to participate. In addition, at the venue, there will be an exhibition of long-term care robots and opportunities for interaction and networking with developers and participants.
