At the International Robot Exhibition 2013 (iRex2013), “Robotic care devices introduction acceleration debriefing session” was held. While standing people were there because the prepared seats were already full, expectations for robotic care devices was expressed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and Hirukawa project leader described that the role to achieve by this business of standard development, the evaluation consortium. The considerations and significance of introducing a robotic care devices was given by Mr. Morikawa, president of ORIX living, and description of the smart suit under development was given by Dr. Tanaka of Smart Support Technologies, Inc.
