<Completed>AMED Robot Care Equipment Development Promotion Project (Environment Preparation)
Third Seminar: "The Path to Device Interoperability in Robot Care Equipment"
(Webex Webinar)
Purpose of the Event
The third seminar for the FY2022 Robot Care Equipment Development Promotion Project (Environment Improvement) will be held online starting at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
This seminar will focus on the theme of equipment interconnectivity for robot care devices. Robot care devices have multiple designated priority areas, and product development is progressing. Their introduction into care settings and usage scenarios are also expanding. These devices also possess characteristics as ICT/IoT tools. Combining and linking them is expected to unlock further functionality and broaden their impact. Examples include integrating electronic medical records with monitoring sensors to remotely detect a user's condition, or managing the operation of various transfer support devices through a single app. By further unlocking the potential of robotic care devices through device integration, it is anticipated that their utilization will contribute even more significantly to care settings.
This time, we are honored to have Medical Corporation Kanjinkai, which has been promoting device integration led by facilities, and Paramount Bed Co., Ltd., which has a proven track record of achieving device integration with various products, join us as speakers. They will share insights from both the facility and developer perspectives on expectations, challenges, and practical knowledge regarding device integration. They will also answer your questions in a panel discussion format.
We hope this seminar will be useful for facility operators interested in robot care device interoperability and developers interested in the interoperability demanded by the field, serving as a step toward creating better care environments through device collaboration.
About the Seminar Organizing
Office This organizing office aims to build a "Robot Care Device Industry Ecosystem" through information dissemination at seminars related to robot care devices and awareness-raising activities via portal site operation. The industry ecosystem referred to here describes a state where players—including developers of robotic care devices, care facility/individual users, new entrants to the care field, and local governments—come together to form a community. Within this community, information sharing, matching, consultation, talent development, and recruitment can occur autonomously. We believe that forming this robotic care device industry ecosystem will invigorate the sharing of needs and information between developers and users, accelerating future development and adoption.
We look forward to welcoming many participants.
