Purpose of the Event
We will hold the third seminar of the FY2024 Project to Promote the Development of Robotic Care Equipment (Infrastructure Development) online on Friday, February 14, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM.
This seminar will focus on the themes of “Utilization of Robotic Care Equipment in Home Care” and “Effective Use of Robotic Care Equipment and ICT.” Aimed at developers of robotic care equipment, as well as those currently using or considering the use of such equipment in care facilities or at home, the seminar aims to deepen participants’ understanding of “The State of Home Care in Japan and Future Prospects from an International Perspective” and “Workflow Improvement and Productivity Enhancement in Welfare Settings.”
We are pleased to welcome Ms. Yasuko Akutsu, Director of MT Healthcare Design Institute Co., Ltd., and Mr. Masato Tokunaga, Director of Business Promotion at the Kanagawa Welfare Service Promotion Association, as our guest speakers.Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session where speakers will answer questions from attendees. We warmly invite everyone
involved in caregiving, businesses engaged in the development of robotic care devices, companies considering entering the robotic care device market, and anyone else interested in the utilization of these devices or industry trends to join us.

Through information dissemination at seminars on robotic care devices and public awareness campaigns via our portal site, our committee aims to build a "robotic care device industry ecosystem."The term “industry ecosystem” as used here refers to a state in which players involved in robotic care equipment—including developers, care facilities, individual users, new entrants to the care sector, and local governments—come together to form a community capable of independently facilitating information sharing, matchmaking, consultation, human resource development, and recruitment within that community. We believe that the formation of this robotic care equipment industry ecosystem will stimulate the exchange of information and the alignment of needs between developers and users, thereby accelerating future development and adoption.
