<Event Concluded> FY2023 AMED Project to Promote the Development of Robotic Care Equipment (Infrastructure Development)
: 1st Seminar "Utilizing Demonstration Results and Expanding Overseas in the Development of Robotic Care Equipment—Development and Dissemination Tailored to Needs" (Webex Webinar)
Purpose of the Event
On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM, we will hold the first seminar of the FY2023 Project to Promote the Development of Robotic Care Equipment (Infrastructure Development) online.
Titled “Utilizing Demonstration Results and Overseas Expansion in Robot Care Equipment Development: Development and Dissemination That Match Needs,” this seminar aims to deepen participants’ understanding of how to utilize demonstration research results—including equipment development and improvement tailored to on-site needs, promotion of adoption, and enhancing on-site understanding—as well as the overseas expansion of developed and improved equipment.
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Hitoshi Fujii, President and CEO of RT. Works Co., Ltd., as our guest speaker. He will present case studies on how he has utilized the results of demonstration research in a series of marketing activities—from identifying challenges to product development, sales, and implementation—as well as share insights regarding overseas expansion. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session where Mr. Fujii will answer questions from participants.
We invite a wide range of individuals involved in the care sector to attend, including developers seeking to deepen their understanding of robotic care equipment development and demonstration research, as well as care providers interested in the practical application of robots in care settings.

From the Seminar Organizing Committee:
The Organizing Committee aims to build a "robotic care equipment industry ecosystem" through awareness-raising activities, such as disseminating information at seminars on robotic care equipment and operating a portal site. The term “industry ecosystem” refers to a state in which players involved in robotic care equipment—including developers, care facilities, individual users, new entrants to the care sector, and local governments—come together to form a community capable of self-sustaining information sharing, matchmaking, consultation, talent development, and recruitment. We believe that the formation of this robotic care equipment industry ecosystem will stimulate the exchange of information and the alignment of needs between developers and users, thereby accelerating future development and adoption.
We look forward to your participation.
