of Robotic Care Equipment (Standard-Setting and Evaluation Project)

Purpose of the Event: As part of the results presentation for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Project to Promote the Development and Introduction of Robotic Care Equipment, we will present and exhibit robotic care equipment developed by recipients of development grants, evaluation criteria for such equipment developed under the standards formulation and evaluation project, a simulated care facility, and safety testing facilities for life support robots.

Access: A shuttle bus will run between Kenkyu-Gakuen Station on the Tsukuba Express, the Japan Automobile Research Institute, and the Safety Verification Center for Life Support Robots. If you are coming by car, please use the coin-operated parking lots near Kenkyu-Gakuen Station. (Parking at the event venue is not available.)
- Capacity: Care service providers and developers of robotic care devices, for a total of 250 participants
- Eligibility: This event is open to anyone who meets one of the following criteria.
- Long-term care providers, etc.
- Providers of rental care equipment, etc.
- Members of the NEDO Robot Care Equipment Development Partnership (or those considering joining)
- Members of the press
- Others (organizers, government officials)
