Monitoring and Fall Detection System for Seniors Living Alone
To ensure seniors can live with peace of mind, our sensor system provides 24/7 monitoring year-round. Detection
of abnormal conditions is determined comprehensively by assessing both physical falls and changes in breathing and heart rate. Should an abnormal condition occur where the senior cannot get up, caregivers are promptly notified. Upon receiving the notification, caregivers can also initiate a voice call to check on the senior. The system also detects falls within the bathroom and submersion in the bathtub. In the event of submersion, it forcibly drains the bathtub to prevent drowning.
Product Features
・Provides monitoring coverage throughout all indoor areas, including living rooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
・Infrared image recognition enables monitoring even in low-light conditions.
・Detects submersion in the bathtub.
・If submersion is detected in the bathtub, it automatically initiates forced drainage after a set period.
・Enables voice communication to call out to the person receiving care during emergencies.
・By accumulating daily data, it helps identify declines in basic activities or abnormalities, aiding in maintaining and managing the health status of the person receiving care.
Technical Features
・Detects falls with high precision using proprietary skeletal tracking technology (3D joint coordinates and acceleration measurement).
・After detecting a fall, it combines the body's condition with precise distance change measurements using a depth camera to sense breathing and heart rate, enabling a comprehensive assessment of fall-related injuries.
・If an abnormal condition occurs, the voice call function allows family members living apart to check in on or converse with the care recipient. It can also send an image email showing the situation when an abnormality occurs.
・Precise distance change measurements also detect submersion in a bathtub.
・Privacy is maintained compared to conventional image cameras because analysis is performed using skeletal tracking images.
・Beyond fall detection via skeletal tracking technology, it enables remote monitoring of daily activity levels, motor function, and respiratory/heart rate status during normal daily life. This allows family members living apart to understand the care recipient's living conditions.
・After confirming an outing, an emergency notification email is sent if the care recipient does not return home within a predetermined time.
