<Event Concluded> AMED Project to Promote the Development of Robotic Care Equipment (Infrastructure Development):
3rd Seminar "Hokkaido's Initiatives and On-Site Conditions for the
Widespread Adoption of Robotic Care Equipment" (Webex Webinar)
Purpose of the Event
We will hold the third seminar of the FY2023 Project to Promote the Development of Robotic Care Equipment (Infrastructure Development) online on Thursday, February 8, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM.
Titled “Hokkaido’s Initiatives and On-Site Conditions for the Popularization of Robotic Care Equipment,” this seminar aims to deepen participants’ understanding of efforts to promote the adoption of robotic care equipment that meets on-site needs.
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Takeo Uenishi, Head of the Facility Sales Promotion Office, and Mr. Yusai Momiyama from the Home Care Division of Marubery Co., Ltd. as speakers. Marubery operates a rental and sales business for care and welfare equipment in Hokkaido and has been actively promoting the adoption of robotic care equipment since its early stages.
Yusai Momiyama from the Home Care Division. They will present on Hokkaido’s initiatives to promote the adoption of robotic care equipment, share case studies of how proposed robotic care equipment has led to actual use in response to on-site needs, and discuss key points for ensuring the continued successful use of robotic care equipment after its introduction into care facilities. Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session where speakers will answer questions from attendees.
We warmly invite everyone involved in the care sector to attend, including users of robotic care equipment, developers seeking to deepen their understanding of the challenges and needs heard from the front lines of care, and care providers interested in utilizing robots in care settings.
From the Seminar Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee aims to build a "robotic care equipment industry ecosystem" through awareness-raising activities, such as disseminating information at seminars on robotic care equipment and operating a portal site. The "industry ecosystem" referred to here describes a state in which players involved in robotic care equipment—including developers, care facilities, individual users, new entrants to the care sector, and local governments—come together to form a community capable of independently facilitating information sharing, matchmaking, consultation, talent development, and recruitment within that community. We believe that the formation of this robotic care equipment industry ecosystem will stimulate active information sharing and alignment of needs between developers and users, leading to accelerated development and adoption in the future.
We look forward to your participation.
