HAL® Care Support Belt

・Easy to operate and safe.
Since the level of assistance can be set with just two buttons, anyone can use it with ease. It is safe because it is designed to prevent the generation of excessive force that the user cannot handle on their own.

・HAL® assists movements exactly as you intend.
HAL reads the “bioelectric signals”—the signals sent from the brain to the muscles when a person moves—and moves in accordance with those signals. In other words, since HAL supports your movements exactly as your brain intends, you can perform caregiving tasks as usual with greater ease.

・Reduces strain on the lower back. We have scientifically demonstrated that HAL reduces the load on muscles, the lumbar spine, and intervertebral discs during tasks such as transferring patients from a bed to a wheelchair or repositioning them, and have developed features that further minimize strain on the lower back.It is expected to be utilized to improve working conditions and prevent workplace accidents in hospitals and care facilities.

・Lightweight and compact design for use anytime, anywhere.
Since it is battery-powered, it can be used in a variety of locations without restrictions on where it can be used. The battery is replaceable, and the compact, lightweight model (approx. 2.9 kg) allows for extended use while worn. It is designed to be usable by female caregivers as well.
